Come and experience the full Ashtanga Primary Series with Miyuki Tamura!
This monthly workshop is an opportunity for seasoned Ashtangis and other yogis to experience the rigor and intensity of the full primary series popularized by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois. This is a great opportunity to challenge your strength, flexibility, and mind.
Can you maintain your faith and stay connected to your breath throughout the entire practice? If you can, you may leave feeling purified and refreshed!
You are welcome to pause at any time to catch your breath or leave early if needed. If you need to leave early, please take 5–10 minutes in Savasana before you go.
Please note: This class is NOT beginner-friendly.
If you have never practiced Ashtanga Yoga before, please try one of the Half Primary Series classes first. These classes are held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 9:30 a.m.
If you are unable to attend those classes, we recommend practicing Vinyasa-style yoga regularly for at least three months before joining the full Primary Series class.
Tickets are $35.
We offer BIPOC discounts. Reach out to hello@mygreenyogi.com to learn more.

About Miyuki
Miyuki has been practicing Ashtanga Yoga sincerely for more than a decade. Through her daily practice, she has been working through trauma, self-doubt, trust issues, and physical and emotional challenges.
She has traveled to different countries to seek guidance from great teachers, including Sharath Jois, David Swenson, Kino MacGregor, Tim Feldmann, and many others.
Miyuki’s mission is to introduce Ashtanga Yoga as a fun, friendly, and powerful practice that helps individuals reconnect with their true nature.
As she often says, “It’s not about the poses, but the breath.”
