In this experiential workshop, you’ll receive a multimedia overview of your body’s operating system—the nervous system—and its subtle relationship to the chakra system. We’ll explore the vital role of the vagus nerve and how simple practices like nerve flossing can help alleviate inflammation, restore alignment, and release stress.

This participatory course includes breathwork, chanting, and sliding and gliding movement, making it accessible and beneficial for practitioners of all levels. By the end of the session, you can expect to feel calm, grounded, and integrated—more at ease in your body and more resilient in your daily life.

David Moreno

David Moreno, RYT 500, YACEP, SFT— has taught worldwide at international yoga conferences, festivals, universities, and teacher trainings. His yoga commentaries appear in Yoga Journal, Yoga International, LA Yoga Magazine, and Common Ground, with dance and performing arts criticism featured on Culture Vulture.

He began practicing yoga in the late 1970s, studying Iyengar and Ashtanga with Tias Little before going on to Anusara (John Friend) and the Bihar traditions. David founded Men’s Kula: Yoga for Guys workshops and retreats, and co-created Kavanah Yoga Havdalah with Rabbi Jennie Chabon, blending yoga with the mystical Jewish ritual that ends Shabbat. Known for his humor and timing, David’s teaching is both playful and deeply informative.
