Ignite Your Core: A Month-Long Strength Series with Annemaria Rajala

Ready to feel stronger, more stable, and more connected to your body?

Ignite Your Core is a four-week series designed to build functional core strength that supports your entire body, both on and off the mat.

Through flowing sequences and creative, targeted exercises, we’ll explore all the layers of your abdominal muscles while also strengthening your hips, legs, and shoulders. Between classes, you’ll have access to video practices you can revisit at home—giving you the consistency and support to deepen your progress. By the end of the series, you’ll leave with more connection to your core system and progressive practices you can carry forward long after the series ends.

This series is well-suited for anyone looking to:

  • Build strength and stability in a mindful way

  • Improve connection to your abdominal layers

  • Feel more supported in daily activities

  • Challenge themselves in a thoughtful, sustainable way

✨ For postpartum students: This series is appropriate once you’ve established a foundation of core and pelvic floor strength and are ready to continue building. If you’re unsure about readiness, please reach out to Annemaria at annemaria.rajala@gmail.com. Pre-crawling babies are welcome to attend class with you!

  • Four weekly in-person classes on Mondays

  • Four on-demand video practices (25–28 minutes each), with 6 months of access after the series ends

About Annemaria

Annemaria Rajala, E-RYT500, RPYT, YACEP is known for her grounded and nourishing classes that invite you to cultivate trust and intuitive listening in your body. She teaches weekly classes and leads workshops in the Bay Area and in the Virtual space, and is a guest lecturer for yoga Teacher Trainings in Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga. She teaches a wide range of styles, from Restorative and Gentle yoga to more vigorous Vinyasa with a specialty in Prenatal and Postnatal yoga and Postnatal core and pelvic floor recovery. Annemaria is a mother to a lively little boy and deeply passionate about supporting any birthing person through the journey of pregnancy and early parenthood.

Her teaching is informed by her years of personal practice, by studying varied approaches and styles of yoga, by being an eternal student of anatomy and by her extensive movement training and experience as a professional dancer and actor. Her goal as a teacher is to make yoga accessible and guide you as a student to a deeper relationship with yourself through the practice of yoga.
