Turning Towards the Heart: Devotional Whirling & Sacred Dance with Miriam Peretz

In sacred community we will join our hearts in breath, song, whirling, dance, poetry and prayer.

This offering is open to all who are called to move in prayer, and those who seek to learn more about embracing dance and the movement of whirling to connect with the universe and our deepest self.

The session will include, group prayer, breath work, movement rituals, whirling practices, sacred circle dances, and Sufi poetry. With intention that these experiences will help us to expand our hearts capacity and enter the place of unity with all creation.

Solidarity Ticket — $30

Choose this option if you have some financial flexibility but need a reduced rate. This tier supports participation while honoring your capacity and helps bridge accessibility with sustainability for the circle.

Sustaining Ticket — $35 (True Cost)

Choose this option if you can comfortably afford the standard price without strain. This tier supports the facilitator, space, materials, and the ongoing offering of these dances.

Reciprocity Ticket — $40

Choose this option if you are feeling financially resourced and wish to give from a place of generosity. This tier helps offset lower-cost tickets and supports future access

Miriam Peretz

Miriam Peretz weaves movement and ritual together to create safe, communal spaces for healing and empowered embodiment. She is a life-long dancer and movement educator who has immersed herself in the study of the healing arts of movement and dance. She has studied sacred dance forms from around the world, focusing on Central Asian dance, and the mystical practices of Sufi whirling. Miriam sees dance as a uniquely powerful means of expressing deep emotion and spiritual yearning, and therefore the perfect embodiment of prayer.

Miriam is the creator of Nava Dance, Nava Movement and Integral Dance, all modalities for holistic dance practice, integrating traditional dance forms, somatic inquiry, embodied intention, and breath awareness.

Miriam offers workshops and retreats worldwide and is the founder of the Nava Dance Collective, an international community of dancers devoted to creating meaningful projects in community through collaborative sisterhood.
