Our Team is:
Devoted to creating a welcoming environment for people of all ages, backgrounds and fitness levels to enjoy yoga. We are eager to help our guests with whatever they need. We work together to support one another on a personal and professional level, and we are willing to go above and beyond to help out whenever possible. We are conscious of our words and actions, knowing that we are representatives of our team and our studio.
Our Studio is:
A home. We keep it clean, organized, and inviting. When our guests enter the studio, we greet them as if they were entering our own home. Our studio is a sanctuary where our guests can practice yoga in a positive, uplifting environment that we create through constant attention and care.
Culture & Values Overview
We treat everyone with equal respect
We make generous assumptions, understanding that everyone is human
We practice kindness, helpfulness and compassion
We take ownership of our own actions, emotions and behavior
We use challenging moments as opportunities for self-reflection
We show up with integrity, humility, honesty, accountability and love
Embodying GY Values at the Front Desk
Stand and be present and engaged
Greet everyone who walks through the door with a smile and a hello
Get to know people’s names (students, teachers, GY staff & volunteers)
Introduce yourself to new faces
Help new students orient themselves to the space (show them how to check in, where to leave their belongings, where the bathroom is, etc)
Help troubleshoot check in issues with patience and kindness
Handling Guest Complaints
Actively listen to the guest complaint
Tell the guest you understand and hear them
Apologize, take accountability and relay our concern
Repeat the major details of the complaint back to the guest to confirm your understanding
Suggest possible solutions
Ask if there is anything else you could do to help or pass on any feedback to management (shows them that what they are saying is important and taken into consideration)
If they are still unhappy, offer to put them in touch with the owner (Nasiem) or our Studio Director (Antonia)

Marketing Tips & Tricks
Want to make sure your events and classes are promoted fully? Read these tips & tricks below and have fun trying some out:
Email Marketing
1
Submit an enrichment piece here to be featured in our email newsletter. This is a great opportunity to have free, special promotion. You can submit something like a favorite recipe, a blog post, share words of wisdom, a poem or song you love - anything that helps our community get to know you more is great.
2
Tag us or add us a collaborator on any of your posts. Make sure what you post is in Green Yogi branding. Here’s a link to our branding guide. Posts that are authentic, think selfie videos or videos of you teaching are more likely to get noticed by our community. Reach out if you need Green Yogi high res logo files to use in any of your posts.
Flyers
3
For any of your workshops, feel free to print physical flyers/postcards and place them on our table with all the other flyers (next to the tea station in Telegraph). Flyers must be no bigger than 5x7 (4x6 or business card-size is also great!).
Post-Class Announcements
4
Making announcements right after class ends is one of the BEST ways to promote. We all know how overwhelmed we are with ads online and on social media, making the in-person connection, hearing YOUR voice is key. Especially after taking a wonderful yoga class and feeling so good, there’s a high chance they want more with you!
In addition to announcing your offerings, it’s crucial we support our entire Green Yogi community by announcing other other workshops or trainings happening at the studio! By sharing what the community is offering, it strengthens the sense of care and love we have for each other.
Need a guide for announcing other workshops? We have a clipboard in every studio for you to easily read from! See photos of the clipboard locations below:
