Anne-René Petrarca
Anne-René's yoga journey began in the 1990's in New York City and has unfolded alongside a life devoted to movement, awareness, somatic exploration and creative expression. Her soulful Vinyasa class is a dynamic practice that awakens and harmonizes body, mind, and spirit. It is both physically challenging and heart-centered, a moving meditation that weaves together hand mudras, chanting, inspired readings, and music. Each class is an offering—a conversation between stillness and motion, between breath and Being. For Anne-René yoga is an unearthing—an unraveling and uncovering of inner light. It is a synthesis of body, mind, and spirit, a creative intelligence that holds you close and then sets you free. Anne-René is a dance artist, Alexander Technique teacher and the artistic director of Sculpted Motion.
